Here is the premiere of Kristinia’s newest music video for “Sabotage”! She looks absolutely gorgeous and the video is about 5 degrees greater than Goodbye. I really enjoyed the video, what about you?
Kristinia was so kind to record a video welcome message for us over the weekend! A little backstory on this: At the end of our phone interview, she was going to do an audio shoutout. Unfortunately/fortunately my lame iPhone dropped the call. She called back not too long afterward ready to do the shoutout. I ended up suggesting a video shoutout and she happily obliged! It was fortunate that the call was dropped because the program I tried to record the interview on didn’t record audio! So thank you very much to Kristinia and her manager! This is so great for the site and for myself. I tried waiting until tomorrow to post this but I couldn’t wait!
Kristinia just did her first ever televised performance as an artist on So You Think You Can Dance! She did an amazing job and only made me want more. She looked gorgeous and gave a great show. FOX did make her background vocals too high but you’re definitely able to tell she was singing live (for the record). What did you think about the performance?

“Goodbye” singer Kristinia DeBarge stopped by the J-14 offices to officially begin her summer internship with us.
Her first task was to interview the uber talented Justin Bieber, a YouTube superstar!

Kristinia DeBarge stopped by Seventeen’s office to give us a sneak peek of her new single, “Goodbye.” She also talked about her five diaries, her love for archeology, and the options for her second hit!
17: What’s the concept for your “Goodbye” video?
Kristinia DeBarge: It’s young, fun, and sexy. It starts off with me and my girlfriends just being mischievous. We’re checking out whether my ex-boyfriend is home, because we’re about to steal his car. The car in the video is a 1996 convertible Mustang, and it’s red! I had to get a classic in there, since a new car is just what you’d expect. I worked out really hard to be in good shape for the video, too. My best friend is in the passenger seat with me, and everyone at the house are my friends. It gives the video more energy. And the whole thing is choreographed by Jamaica — she’s worked with Keri Hilson, Ciara, and Usher.
17: When does the album come out?
KD: It’s now coming out in the second week of July. We’re in the process of figuring out a second single. It has to be such a monster so it has a good follow-up. There’s a song called “Powerless” that I just recorded, I’m really crazy about it. There’s another song I’m absolutely crazy about called “Sabotage.” Then I haven’t recorded this song yet, but it’s called “Anti-Love,” and I’m really excited about recording that.
I’ve added 9 photos from Kristinia’s first live performance at the 98 PXY Summer Jam yesterday to the gallery! She looked gorgeous. A few fans also uploaded some videos of her performance! She performed Doesn’t Everybody Want to Fall in Love, Goodbye and another song I don’t know the name of amazingly. I love her voice live. I’ll try to find out the name of the unidentified song performed. Kristinia was even proposed to by 98 PXY’s DJ Moose! She did such a great job in front of the audience for her first time as a recording artist. Look for everything below!
